National Service Scheme

The scheme is introduced with a view to develop national conscious- ness and a sense of responsibility among the students. It provides the students with opportunities to devote their leisure time to the service of the nation. The membership is open to all students. 100 Students will be enrolled as volunteers every year for each unit. Those volunteers who complete social service work under the scheme for 240 hours during two academic years will be awarded a certificate by the University of Kerala.
